This unique CLE will highlight practical guidance for attorneys to help
clients protect their companion animals. Experienced practitioners will
discuss the importance of planning for pets in the event of emergencies,
disasters, and their owners’ incapacity or death; provide language for pet
trusts and wills; share Oregon resources for attorneys and pet owners; and
advise attendees about how to raise the difficult topics that must be
discussed to properly plan for animals. There will be an hour
presentation, followed by a Q&A and discussion session.
